Perforated Pipe

Perforated pipe is used for the application of oil reservation layer without much sand or preventing rock bits from dropping off the well bore.

Every joint is put through comprehensive deburring process.
Each hole is visually inspected and cleaned of burr material.

Perforation is an extremely important technique in petroleum exploration and recovery engineering, a major means of enhancing the recovery factor of gas and oil wells and also a typical method of tapping the potential of existing oil fields and increasing output. Perforation completion is widely used in China and abroad and accounts for about over 90%of all well completions. Almost all reservoir beds can be opened by this method. In the method in the course of gas and oil field exploitation the production casing is lowered and cemented and then special perforation instrument and devices are sent down to the predetermined depth and aimed at the target layer. The perforator down in the well is ignited from ground and the the lined cavity charge is ignited which result in the detonation wave to transmit forward at a velocity of 7~8 km per second and high temperature and high pressure shock waves are generated which penetrate though the casing, cement sheath and enter the stratum forming a hole canal, as illustrated by the diagram. Whichever perforation method you use, the performance and quality of the perforating gun shall have a significant influence on the perforation quality of gas and oil wells.

In view of a new type drilling-perforating casing with screw holding in open hole completion,mechanical property problem of the casing which located at the different depth of straight well and horizontal well and bearing no-even load was studied with indoor material testing and finit-element analysis methods.The result indicated that the stress and the maximal distortion increased along with the increasing of the depth;under the same depth,the maximal distortion increased,the minimum stress decreased,and the maximal stress increased along with increasing of the eyelet quantity and eyelet area;the stress concentration is the major factor to depress the bearing capacity of the casing;the stress rupture resulted by load nonuniformity coefficient and the buckling collapse resulted by distortion should be considered when selecting casing.The research conclusion can provide theory basis for reasonable choice and design of the casing, the determination of aperture,density and phase of the drilling-perforating hole,analysis of casing retained strength after drilling and assurance of use security of the casing.
